    A good book, it contains a lot of recipes to use on the alli diet. It also goes into detail about how alli works in the body but the majority of the book is taken up by recipies. I would have liked to have read more information on alli itself such as the pros and the cons

    Really helpful. Especially for pcos. Helps you to see food in a different way and to help understand to keep healthy rather then a diet.

    This is a really good book. If you are using Alli or not the recipes are easy to make and really low fat and whats more the whole family will eat them. Have been following the plan for 9 weeks and lost 10 kilos.

    I purchased this book after starting taking orlistat to assist me in losing weight. The book was intended to keep me interested in eating healthily and changing my eating lifestyle. Obviously it's not just the book that can do this but a change in attitude is needed as well and I was ready for this. It was not purchased as a specific diet plan to use whilst losing weight only to go back to my old, weight gaining days. Of course I do want this initially but coupled with carrying on after this goal has been reached. I have tried many diet plans in the past and have steadily put on weight using them; obviously they weren't for me. This book has been a completely different experience and a good one at that! In the 4 weeks since purchasing the book and using the fantastic recipes within, I have lost 9lbs and this trend looks set to continue.The book is bursting with information on how to eat healthily, lose weight and maintain it. It also has recipes to suit all tastes. If you are a 'foodie' then buy it! It is split into sections of breakfast/brunch, soups, poultry, meat, fish, vegetarian, accompaniments, desserts, baking etc. It even has a section advising on takeaway options or eating on the run, such as how many calories & fat is in a specific sandwich purchased from Markies for example.The recipes are set out in a way that is very easy to follow, as are the lists of ingredients needed. Also, each recipe gives you the calorie and fat content it contains. If you are concerned about other aspects of your diet, each recipe has a table of contents at the foot of the page which gives you information on the carbohydrate content, salt, portion of fruit & veg etc. There are serving suggestions and storage advice as well.One thing to think about is that 95% of the recipes are for 2-4 people but the recipes are good to use for the whole family and not just the person wanting to lose weight. I have a fussy 15 year old and he has eaten everything I have cooked from this book. My daughter is 11 months old and with some of the recipes I can even include her, again she has eaten what I have made if suitable for her.Overall, I highly recommend this book if you are serious about changing bad eating habits and/or wanting to lose weight without feeling like you are 'on a diet'. It is not a miracle cure #don't we just wish!# but it can certainly help you on your way to a leaner, fitter, healthier version of you.

    I have been taking alli for 9 weeks now and have lost over a stone in weight. The book has been a great help with some excellent tips and advice together with really nice recipes which are also easy to make. My whole family enjoyed to food too which is a great help as a busy Mum.

    I bought this book to accompany the Alli diet pills that I was trying for the first time.It explains in great detail how the diet pills work, what to expect (ie possible side effects), what to eat and has lots of recipe ideas and daily meal plans.I would higly recommend people who are trying Alli for the first time to buy this book as it explains so much more that you get in the small booklet that comes with the Alli tablets.This is my fourth week of taking Alli and I have lost 12lbs so far - I'm very pleased and hopeful that this time I will get to my target weight. I've also had none of the possible side effects that some people get.

    It's not often that things really do 'what it says on the tin' but I can scarcely fault The Alli Diet Plan: Your Essential Guide To Success With Alli having lost 14lbs in the last four weeks.The book is crammed with delicious recipes so you can follow the set diet or substitute other meals from the recipes. None of the recipes I have used takes longer than an hour to prepare and cook and most are ready in half that time so no temptation to pick whilst waiting for a meal. What's more the portions are a reasonable size so I haven't felt hungry between meals and the rest of the family are happy to eat from the book too.My only criticism - there is no index of recipes so finding them means trawling through each section until you come across what you are looking for. The calorie counted list of foods should contain many more products.I bought Alli tablets too but have hardly used them as the recipes are low fat. I only take a tablet when I can't avoid eating off plan and know that the fat content is high.I thoroughly reccomend this book as with just a little planning I have had enjoyable meals for four weeks without repeating a recipe and can probably do so for several more weeks - it's not like being on a diet at all.
